SMallVacation sits in Ostfriesland, in the Samtgemeinde Brookmerland on Germany’s North Sea coast. Rural, quiet, and completely private: no shared walls, no staff walking in, no one else’s schedule to work around. For the length of your stay, the apartment is entirely yours.
Getting here
Ostfriesland is a rural corner of northwest Germany, best reached by car:
- Bremen Airport: about 1h 45min drive
- Groningen, Netherlands: about 1 hour
- Amsterdam Schiphol: about 2h 30min drive
Key handover is contactless, so you won’t need to speak to anyone on the way in. Communication before and during your stay works fine in English or German.

Do we need to speak German?
No. Everything around your booking works fine in English – the practical side, key handover and the address, is simple and clear either way.
How does payment work?
Payment is by bank transfer, not card or PayPal. Within the EU, a transfer works like a normal SEPA transfer. From outside the EU, your bank can send an international transfer using the IBAN we provide after your request.
Is it really as private as it sounds?
Yes. From the outside it’s an ordinary vacation apartment – nothing about the building suggests why you’re there. No other guests, no staff dropping by, just your apartment for the length of your stay.
